I don't have a TV right now. But back when I lived with my parents, while cooking and eating I used to watch the soul-edifying EuroNews channel. I often quoted it in the spirit of “our European Commission protects us.” Once I tried to find out if I could watch it over the internet, but I only found a paid service – jalipo.com (whose website currently displays a weird message).
However, a recent second attempt succeeded. First, I went to the site of one of the early p2p TVs – joost.com, but there the channel is presented as separate shows, and in English on top of that. But then I had the bright idea to search Google using the keywords p2p tv, rather than just “euronews online broadcast”. And happiness ensued. As it turned out, EuroNews is broadcast by the service https://livestation.com, and even in Russian. Plus, it uses Silverlight, which is ideologically native to me (which doesn't matter, and it seems they've already dropped Silverlight anyway).
So now I can comfortably learn what the Eurocrats have dreamt up again to restrict the megacorporations , how farmers are saving electricity and why the new European SC (spacecraft) is glitching out.
Almost like in the song “Radio Amateur” by the band Nol.
My soul aches with indignation,
It's scary to turn on the receiver:
"Duran Duran" and "Iron Maiden"

And I don't need "Zeppelin".
I know for sure, the ear of wheat is ripening
And they are producing vaseline.
